Photography Intermediate Part-time
Already confident with the basics of photography? Ready to take your skills to the next level? This Intermediate Photography course is designed to help you deepen your understanding, refine your technique and explore different photography genres through hands-on projects and expert guidance.
Over 8-weeks you will build on your existing knowledge with a practical, project-based approach that encourages experimentation and growth. Whether you’re drawn to portrait photography, documentary style or studio work, this course will help you find your personal style and expand your creative portfolio.
What you will learn
You will gain hands-on learning with professional equipment and studio space with guidance on composition, lighting, storytelling and visual style from our expert tutors.
Through a mix of indoor studio shoots, outdoor sessions (weather permitting) and classroom-based editing workshops, you’ll explore the theory and practice behind compelling images. We’ll cover:
Wedding photography
Portraiture
Studio lighting and studio set-up
Product and commercial photography
Food photography
Travel photography
Street and urban photography
Editing and post-production techniques
Further area of photography can be covered upon discussion with your tutor as these sessions can be tailored to the group.
This course is ideal for those who are confident with camera settings and basic composition, and want to advance to a more professional level. It’s perfect for hobbyists, aspiring freelance photographers, or anyone building a creative portfolio.
