How do they snap that perfect photo? Join our Introduction to Photography course and find out for yourself…

Learn the most important functions and techniques of digital photography including composition, rule of thirds, your DSLR and lenses, crop sensors and settings, lighting and arrangement.

Getting you one step closer to taking the perfect shot, learn how inspiring and fun capturing that unforgettable moment can be! You can use the skills learned on this course and apply them immediately in your daily life or even begin a career in professional photography.

What you will learn

A series of studio sessions will take budding photographers through all the basics of photography to improve skills, knowledge and composition. The course will also cover elements of post photo editing techniques using the appropriate industry standard software, such as Adobe Photoshop.

This course will introduce you to:

  • Capture Methodologies

  • Styles and techniques of photography

  • Composition

  • Lenses

  • The difference between full frame and crop sensors

  • How digital photos are processed into file formats such as RAW and JPEG

  • Identify the key aspects of a DSLR/understanding its settings

  • Lighting techniques

  • Editing Techniques
