Electrical Installation Diploma Level 3 Full-time

Course Overview

Electrical Installation Diploma Level 3 Full-time

The Level 3 Electrical Installation Advanced Diploma is designed for those who have completed a relevant Level 2 qualification and want to progress towards becoming an electrician.

The course combines advanced electrical theory with practical training in installation design, wiring, inspection and testing, commissioning, fault diagnosis, environmental technologies and electrical science.

You can develop your skills in specialist electrical workshops using installation bays, consumer units, wiring systems, test instruments and fault-finding equipment, while working to current health and safety requirements and BS 7671.

The qualification supports progression to an electrical apprenticeship and other industry-recognised qualifications, although it does not independently provide full occupational competence as an electrician.
