Damp and Mould in Domestic Dwellings Awareness Course
This course has been developed to raise awareness of damp and mould issues within the social housing and property maintenance sector. It is designed to support housing professionals, maintenance teams, contractors, and frontline staff in recognising, managing and preventing damp and mould problems in domestic dwellings.
Students will gain an understanding of the causes and impact of damp, condensation, and mould growth, including the associated health risks for residents. The course also explores practical approaches to identifying different types of damp, treating condensation mould, and implementing effective prevention strategies within social housing environments.
