Cybersecurity Level 2 Award Part-time
This practical course is designed for those who want to understand and protect themselves against cybercrime and security threats in today’s digital world.
What you will learn
You will learn about common risks to IT systems and data, including both accidental and malicious threats, and develop your knowledge of protective methods such as user access controls, vulnerability testing, and penetration testing.
The course covers how to identify system weaknesses, use tools like port scanning, and apply effective security measures to safeguard devices, networks, and online accounts. By the end of the course, you will be able to advise others on cybersecurity best practices and confidently protect a range of digital systems.

Having good English and Maths qualifications are important for most careers and we want to give you the help you need to succeed.
If you are aged 16 - 19 and don't hold a grade C/4 or above in GCSE English and Maths, you will automatically be included in your study programme. If you want to work towards achieving a higher grade in English and Maths, we can help you do that too and we offer Level 3 Mathematical Studies (Core Maths) which maybe added to your study programme, subject to approval from your chosen department.
If you're aged 19 or above and don't hold a grade C/4 or above in GCSE English and Maths we can help. We offer FREE English and Maths qualifications that can be studied on a part-time basis, subject to eligibility.
