Study options

  • Traditional route – consists of two full days study per week as per usual

  • Block Weekend route – Delivered over ‘8 block weekends’ per academic year, supplemented by 1 evening per week (17:30 – 20:30). Designed to widen access for mature students or those with additional responsibilities that restrict traditional study

  • Hyflex – allows students on a day-by-day basis to individually ‘choose’ whether they study in-person or online. Regardless of choice, students all engage with the same ‘live’ class that is taking place and interact with all other students via classroom tasks and activities.

Hyflex allows students to ‘take control and shape their journey’ – perfect for overcoming those unforeseen life challenges that can destabilise University participation.

All lessons are facilitated using Microsoft Teams, and conference style technology to ensure active participation is possible for all students.

The Hyflex study modality is integrated across both ‘traditional’ and ‘block weekend’ routes.
