Counselling Skills Level 2 Certificate (ITS)
Course Overview
Counselling Skills Level 2 Certificate (ITS)
This qualification introduces learners to the use of counselling skills in everyday life and in the workplace, as well as the key approaches that underpin these skills.
It provides an opportunity to explore the knowledge and techniques needed to use counselling skills effectively and to participate appropriately in a helping interaction. Learners will develop a greater understanding of how these skills can support communication, empathy, and positive relationships.
Please note that this qualification does not qualify learners to practise as a professional counsellor.
It is ideal for anyone who wishes to develop their counselling skills for personal or professional use. This may include learners looking to progress to further qualifications, or those studying alongside other programmes such as health and social care, children’s care, learning and development, or voluntary and community work.
