The Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship is perfect for managers and directors who want to master the strategic skills they need to deliver lasting results in their organisations.

Throughout the programme, you will master the skills of people management and organisational strategy, find out more about using quantitative and qualitative data to inform decisions and develop your personal leadership skills.

The Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship delivers a university-level qualification, on-the-job experience and a professional pathway for future development. Our Degree Apprenticeship focuses on building the sought-after skills managers need to succeed in the 21st century. The course blends academic learning with work-based training, enabling you to become a confident, capable and independent Chartered Manager and achieve Chartered Manager (CMgr) status, the industry gold standard for management professionals.

The Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship combines academic learning with workplace experience, offering aspiring managers advanced skills without student debt. It features modules that align with industry standards and employer needs. Supported by expert trainers, diverse case studies and local industry partnerships, this innovative programme prepares students to lead with integrity, adaptability and real-world expertise in today’s evolving business landscape.

As part of this Degree Apprenticeship, you will undertake a FdA in Organisational Leadership and Management and a BA in Leadership and Management, both validated by The University of Hull.

Having good English and Maths qualifications are important for most careers and we want to give you the help you need to succeed.

If you are aged 16 - 19 and don't hold a grade C/4 or above in GCSE English and Maths, you will automatically be included in your study programme. If you want to work towards achieving a higher grade in English and Maths, we can help you do that too and we offer Level 3 Mathematical Studies (Core Maths) which maybe added to your study programme, subject to approval from your chosen department.

If you're aged 19 or above and don't hold a grade C/4 or above in GCSE English and Maths we can help. We offer FREE English and Maths qualifications that can be studied on a part-time basis, subject to eligibility.

Barnsley Sports Academy offers state-of-the-art facilities and diverse sports programs, enabling students to achieve academic and athletic excellence. Remember, you don't have to be studying Sport to join Barnsley Sports Academy.
