Designed for complete beginners as well as those seeking to build confidence in their skills, the course introduces you to the fundamentals of ceramics and pottery in a supportive, hands-on environment.
What you will learn
You’ll learn a range of essential clay techniques, including hand-building and working on the potter’s wheel, while exploring the creative potential of ceramic materials. Guided by experienced tutors in our fully equipped ceramics workshop, you’ll gain the skills needed to create your own unique ceramic pieces.
By the end of the course, you’ll have developed a strong foundation in ceramics and the confidence to continue exploring this expressive and rewarding craft.

How much does the course cost?
This course costs £240. This fee includes one bag of clay needed for lessons. Additional clay can be purchased. There is no funding available for this course, so all learners must pay the full fee.
