Century Tech Winter Cup 2025 Winners

Century Tech Winter Cup 2025 Winners

Over the past five weeks, students have taken part in an engaging and motivating competition using Century Tech, designed to encourage independent learning and consistent progress in English and Maths.

Throughout the competition, student engagement was closely monitored on Century Tech usage, focusing on platform usage, nuggets completed and overall progress and achievement. Each week, a leaderboard was updated to celebrate effort and improvement, creating a sense of excitement and healthy competition among learners.

The competition has now concluded and we are delighted to announce our three winning students, who demonstrated outstanding commitment, resilience and progress during the five week period. The winners were rewarded with Starbucks vouchers in recognition of their hard work and dedication.

1st Place – Elli Sutherby

Elli showed exceptional engagement with Century Tech, consistently working through nuggets and targeting areas she previously found challenging.

Elli said: “Century Tech has been helpful to me because it has helped me to understand the topics that I have struggled with. Now I consider using this for my revision when I resit my GCSEs. It helps me to work on the things I have struggled with in class, meaning the more nuggets I do that I struggle with, the better I become with my work. I would definitely carry on working with Century to keep getting better with my maths and English. Before, I was struggling really badly, but now I am really improving, trying my hardest and getting the hang of it.”

2nd Place – Tia Mawdsley

Tia demonstrated strong commitment to using Century Tech as a revision tool alongside classroom learning.

Tia said: “Century Tech has been helpful for me as it has helped me to understand topics that I could not understand in lessons. It has also given me the opportunity to use it as a tool for revision. Without all my maths and English teachers’ help, support and bribery along the way, I do not think I would have used Century Tech for my revision or used it as much as I do now.”

3rd Place – Keevey Kelly

Keevey made excellent progress by working through topics strategically and building confidence over time.

Keevey said: “Century Tech has helped me with the main topics I struggle with. Having a lot of different options to choose from helps a lot because you can start with the things you know and work your way up to the things you do not know. I will be using this to help me pass English and maths and use it to its full potential to help me the most.”

This competition has highlighted the positive impact Century Tech can have on student confidence, motivation and progress when used consistently. We are incredibly proud of all learners who took part and look forward to continuing to support students in using digital tools to enhance their learning journey.

Congratulations again to our winners and well done to everyone involved!
